Hi there, I’m Georgie. I’m 17, and I’m currently studying Politics, Economics, History and Global Perspectives at A Level.
I live in a small market town in the East-Midlands of England. I’ve moved around a lot but I’m happy where I am right now.
In 2016, I’m hoping to attend university in North America. I’ve wanted to go for years, but it’s become a reality with the help of the Sutton Trust’s US Programme. I’m currently balancing college work with my application and a job, so I’m busy a lot (hence why my posts are quite sporadic).
In my free time, I spend a lot of time reading (here is my review blog), writing, campaigning for mental health awareness, looking after my younger sister and helping my mum out.
I would define myself as left-wing on most, if not all, political issues. I’m pro-EU (a more democratic EU would be lovely however) and I believe strongly in equality (LGBT, people of colour, mental health, feminism etc). My political ideas are evident throughout my blog.
I hope you enjoy 🙂
